Hi i can sign in into messenger but unable to browse anywebsite. i have even tried firefox it didnt work. I have checked my tcp ip setting and lan settings they all are set to automatic. I am using wireless connection at my home. I have other laptops at home and can use internet perfectly fine.

Open a command prompt window on both the problem PC and one that's working. Enter the following command in the command prompt window:

ipconfig /all

Post the output of that command for both PC's in a response in here and we'll have a look and see what we can see.

First paste the output to notepad by right click on command prompt then select all and then press ctrl+c. And then copy from notepad paste the results of both the laptop and pc here.
