Comment: I have 1 windows 2003 server and 10 Windowx Xp Pro Clients, all the users are member of Domain Admin, few of the clients have printers attched to them and are shared, in their properties > security Tab i have given all the permissions to everyone, the problem is that i am unble to connect to shared printers from any client, but when i write //computer-name on RUN and connect to that computer using its login information i am able to PRINT, why i need to first login to that system to get the Printer Working???? Reply: (edit)when you type //pcname do you have to login, if so you have to give the user permission on that pc. You have to add his account in the users or give permission to everyone for shared resources. Cambece
