Could someone tell me how to set up the network? I have two pcs (win98se)one Linksys 5-port switch and one LAN internet connection. Should I put two ethernet cards in one pc which works as a gateway and connect the other computer to the switch as a client?

Not the best idea because if you have problems with the computer that has both NIC's you won't be able to use the internet. The best idea would be to connect your LAN connection to your hub, put a NIC in each computer, then run lines from the hub to each computer.
