can i use two NICS on the same PC to connect to two different LANs?
if so, how is it done? how do you log onto two different networks?

Yes, you can.
They can work in 2 different networks, and you can use this PC as a router.

If you have 2 domains to logon to, just create the same user ID and password, you logon to 1 domain, you also can access another domain.

you could also, just install IPSwitch (a sftware) and it will allow you to have multiple configurations stored and you can toggel between configs.
