Two Network

i have the following two net works 192.168.0.0 / 255.255.255.0 and 192.168.1.0 / 255.255.254.0 i have arround 300 pc's. how can i make all of them to access each other. i do not want to chage exisiting 192.168.0.0 net work. please help me.

The way I would do it is to change the subnet mask to a class "b" instead of "c". So use 255.255.0.0. You'd need to change it on all the machines. I'm assuming that there is no router between the two networks now, which is why machines from the 1.x cannot see the 0.x network. Changing the subnet would bring them all onto the same network. If you have a gateway to the internet you'd need to change its configuration to match also.

Do you have smart switches and routers? Like a Cisco catalist switch and cisco edge routers. If you have switches and routers try making each segment it's own VLAN (virtual local area network). Then each segment will have some direction. exsample 192.168.0.0 make the vlan (sales) 192.168.1.0 make this vlan (office)
