Specs: Windows XP
OK so I'm on a A gig a month broadband deal, and mum doesn't use the computer much so i basically have 9 and a half gigs to myself, but the PC (and the modem) are in the computer room, and my xbox, witch i want to connect to the Internet is in my room, i have a phone point in my room and a spare modem and Ethernet cord, can i use this modem in the phone point in my room, and will it work as usual?

Possibly if you unplug the other modem, but it depends on how the upstairs extension is wired, just try it..
