Hi
I recently switched from verizon dsl ,which i was hooked through westell 6100 modem and dlink 524 wireless router ,to earthlink dsl which i am connected wired thru broadxent 8012 G1 modem. Is there any way I can connect the new modem and dlink router by wireless.I tried linking modem to dlink router by selecting ppoe in router config but my password is replaced by another password already in router by default as soon I apply settings.I am using window xp on dell computer and modem's web config says ADSL line mode as PPOE half bridge+ .I am newbie to all this and open to all suggestions, advice.
thanks

Reset the router.

Normally you just plug them in and once it's fired up you hold in the reset button for 10 seconds.

Once you've reset it to the factory defaults, then try setting the router up for your new internet connection.
