My computer is on a LAN. I have the free version of zone alarm running. I have some ip's added to my trusted zone. These computers are able to access shared files on my pc. However, zone alarm blocks all outgoing access. So i can't access any shared files on other networked computers, even the ones that are in my 'trusted zone'. Can someone please help?

What do you mean "other networked computers"? Not on your lan?
Your lan has a ip range right? Put the ip range into ZA not individual host names or ip addresses into the "trusted zone?.
Your local ZA isn't blocking remote access. I would suspect you have unconfigured ZA on those computers or permissions to access have not been configured.
In other words, if they can access you its not za that's the problem.
Simple test, unload za [right mouse click and unload za] and see if you can access the other lan computers resources.
