Are you asking how this could happen, or why you would want it to happen?

The answer to the first question is, usually, that a computer on a DHCP network has a statically assigned IP address that is also being given out by the DHCP server.

The answer to the second question is - you really wouldn't.

If that doesn't answer your question, please give us some more detail on what you want to know. Thanks!

thank you for your quick response,
no it doesn't, i think my question wasnt clear enough.
its the first question that i was asking why it could happen i mean i got a web site ok .. and there are three users surfing it with the same ip address and they're assuming that they dont know each other, the question is can that be true or it is impossible ? and if it is possible i would like to know why.
and thanks again for your help.

Hey, thanks for the update :)

Soooo you're wondering why multiple people (and presumably multiple computers) might appear to be visiting your website from the same IP address? Most likely reason is that they are all using the same proxy server. This could mean that they are on a large network, like a university or corporate network, that uses a web proxy. All computers on the network appear to be coming from the same computer (the web proxy) when requesting web pages because all the requests are being routed through the web proxy. There are other different scenarios where a proxy server might be used but, in general, this is probably why you are seeing what you are seeing.

Could it be that multiple computers behind NAT are hitting the same website on the Global IP??

Yeah, that's basically the same thing. Think of the NAT server as a proxy server in that case. It's doing more than just web proxying, but the principle still applies - any computer on the NATted network routes its traffic through the NAT box. So to an outside observer, any traffic coming from that network appears to be coming from a single computer.
