Hi Mike,
Thanks for your advice.
Could you please explain in more detail how to use ICS
I already have a crossover cable connecting a Win ME PC to a Win 98 PC.
I am trying to edit the TCP/IP property of both NICs but have no idea how to start. Where to find the TCP/IP property ?
Do you have any idea
Thanks in advance.
Stephen

there are tons and tons of sites that walk you through step by step in home networking, just do a google search on "home networking" and your be able to take your pick. To access the TCP/IP properties, just right click on NW N'hood on your desktop and select properties and then double click on TCP/IP. Basically all you'll need to do is give each machine an address (ex. 192.0.0.1 and 192.0.0.2 with the same subnet of 255.255.255.0) to get them seeing one another., After you enable file and print sharing and create defined shares, you'll be able to move data back and forth. Obviously I left out a few things but, use the websites for details. It is very very easy to setup a peer to peer network.
