I have an offsite client that uses remote desktop to connect to my server and do the accounting for my company. They use their local printers to print via the server. This is how I set it up.

I installed their local print drivers onto the server so they could print from the server to their local printer. This worked perfectly.

Here is my question, how can I set them up (remote terminal service user) so when they login their physical local printer is set as default?)

The problem is that since the printer is using the TS ports, it is deleted and re-installed every time the user logs in. So if she is not logged in I cannot see her printer but when she is I can)

Is there anyway I can make her "local" printer default for her when she logs into the server. Remember this is going through the terminal services print functionality.

Sorry that I am not too clear, but I think what your asking is if you can make the local instance of the printer that is on the server the one that is used when she logs in, and assigns it a TS printing port so that it still goes to her client computers printer....?

I don't think that can be done. Terminal services is supposed to create a virtual printer everytime she connect with a virtual TS printing port, and this TS port tends to be a random port and is deleted (most times) when the client disconnects. If it is mounting her client computer's printer in the session, it should automatically make it the default printer in the session.

Is this not the case?
