Hi everyone.

Question. I am an American stationed in Germany. I just upgraded from ISDN to T-DSL 1000. After a year of being here this is all that is offered to me in the area i live.

I am set up to it through a LAN line and am having major issues with the speed. I see no difference in the speed from my old ISDN junk.

Does anyone out there have any advise and knowledge on this issue.

I have called the t-online and T-DSL service line like 5 times and they either "accidentally" disconect me or tell me a tech will call back and they never do. This language berrier really sucks. All my manuels for it are in German.

My router is a speedport 500V. I can't find anything about the set up and instalation procedures in english.

I use bitcommet and my down loads never go faster than 5-10 k/bits. I don't know what to do. my wife is getting mad because for the last week i mess with it every night and she is getting up set so am I.

Any help appreciated.

Try to reset the router! some times it's the problem, but before doing so, make sure that you backup your router configuration, as well as your PIN or password and username.

If you need any furthur help, tell me.
