I have 3 Windows 98 machines on my network. my second machine recently started acting strangely - while I can access other machines on my network, I can't access internet services on that machine. The only possible change on the machine that might affect this is that I removed a piece of spyware (Netsonic & internet speed booster)using Adware spyware remover.I have reinstalled windows without formatting.(I don't want to format it.) . If there is any change in TCP/IP by that spyware then Can you give me a pointer to where I'd find a list of the different TCP/IP modules involved? And/or the name of a Winsock checking program.and how to correct the problem.Your help is appreciated Please.. It's very urgent.

Summary: 2 computers, 1 internet connexion. the 1st pc (server) has 2 nics and runs winxp. the 1st nic is for the internet and the 2nd nic is for the lan. i enabled ics on the 1st nic but i want to assign it a...
Summary: Dont worry about that. Its sounds like you just want to add the TCp/ip protocols to your existing already installed nic. In that case, dont click on "have disk" instead click "add" and then another...
