TCP/IP network transport

Hi

Need help with the following problem, we have a small network of 5 comps all pointed to on comp for internet asscess. the prob is;

1 comp displays the following message on start up "Mobile Devices Properties" the TCP/IP network transport is not installed.

ever since ive been getting this the comp can access all the other comps files and before but it will not connect to tne internet - WHY

You could access other computers because they are using a protocol other than Tcp/IP which you also have loaded like netbeui.

You can't access the internet because you aren't running tcp/ip which is required for internet connection. The not loaded message is a clear indicator of this.

There could be a firewall on the ICS machine and your ip address in not in the "trusted" list.
