Specs: windows xp, 1 gb
i got a tablet kiosk i7209 umpc and when i try to connect to my network it says windows is unable to connect to the selected network. the network may no longer be in range. please refresh the list of available networks, and try again. the only thing i noticed that was out of the ordinary is in device manager it says its a 802.11 b/g USB wireless adapter which is weird because its built in. i just got it off craigslist so i don't know if its ever worked. also in the list of wifi networks is shows others as wpa but the one i want to connect to dose not show wpa.

"i just got it off craigslist" OH Great!

Get the owners manual first. Then see if there is anyway to enable/disable wireless in menu or switch.

do you mean turn the wifi off and on?

Enable might also mean turn on or actuate a switch or enable some menu selection or configure a bios or menu item..

I felt the word enable would translate to other languages well. Are you using translation software?.
