I have a windows ME workstation on a network with a domain. How do I get windows ME to download and apply the system policy file. After I log onto the domain with windows ME it says applying system policies. But it doesn't apply them. Help, Thanks David

Good luck. I haven't been able to get system policies or profiles to work in this type of mixed environment. NT works fine, but not 9x/ME.
If you figure it out, let me know.

Windows Me cant use pol files because it lacks poledit.exe. I'm not sure if it will even work in ME if you got from elsewhere, good luck...may the force be with you or something.

have you made the poledit policy on the server or the ME client. If you nmade it on the server, it won't work. you need to make the policy on the Me client then save it on the server in the netlogon folder as config.pol. Load up system policy editor from your Me CD and make your policy using it.
