Model/Manufacturer: Asus

Trying to install a Symantec vpn client on a networked machine, keep getting emapi can't inialize error. Works fine on other machines on the network. Any ideas?

Abandon anything with the word symantec or norton in it. You'll make yourself nuts.

What is the EXACT error message? What product are you installing?

If it's a symangtec product, there is no reason to go any further. Uninstall it and use something else.

LOL, don. Granted many symantec products suck, but they do make *some* good products. Their AV for Exchange along with the premium anti-spam rocks...
