I have a linksys 4 port cable router hooked to a 3com superstack 24 port switch. I can access the internet on any computer that is connect to the switch. I now want to set up the computers so we can share files. I selected to share files but when I go to the network I see no other computers...im lost

Make sure you have enabled NetBIOS for the appropriate NIC. Microsoft uses NetBIOS naming, so if you only have TCP/IP active then the names will not show up.
