Having said that, I'm pretty happy with all the Linksys (owned by Cisco) SOHO Router's I've worked with.
I would buy a SOHO that has 4 LAN ports and is wireless capable (802.11 N). Dual band is a good idea too.
If you require more than 4 wired ports, buy a switch to go along with the router.
Why would I advise you to get both? Simple, a router will provide firewall as well as NAT and DHCP and that's why. If you have multiple computers to connect to the internet, you have to have something to do NAT. It might as well protect you too.
