OK, I am having the strangest problem with this Speedstream 2624 wireless router. The router connects to the cable modem fine and gets an IP, then all three computers connect wirelessly just fine and they can all browse the internet. Here is the strange part: when one specific computer shuts down or disables it's wireless connection, about 2 minutes later, the other two computers stop being able to access the internet! They can still obtain IPs from the router and access the router's setup (where it says it has a fine connection to the internet), but they just can't browse. If the specific computer is left off and the router is reset, the other two can browse the internet again until the specific computer is turned on and back off again, at which point the cycle continues. Also, if the specific computer is simply turned back on after being turned off, internet access will resume for the other two. What is going on? Why does the router seem to partially die whenever this computer disconnects???

PLEASE help. thanks.

My guess is that you have setup Internet Connection sharing and when the host goes offline the other two boxes still try to make internet requests to it. With your current setup you do not need any sort of "sharing" or "proxy" software so make sure there isn't any running.
