Hi,
I am trying to fix my Dad's wireless connection and have run into a few weird issues, he is using a Belkin F5D7050 wireless dongle(terrible bit of kit) and the belkin wireless software v.1. I have tested the internet connection using my laptop's built in wireless and there is nothing wrong with it. His Pc is connecting to the network (getting IP and able to ping gateway) but not the internet. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the belkin wireless utility but it has had no effect. Any ideas??

have you guys set up the ssid network??
you don't say any network has been setup.
each computer needs the network name in the ssid in the wireless adapters
