Specs: Windows XP
Stop wireless printer connect verizon card. I have a new wireless laptop with XP and a new HP wireless printer and a Verizon card. My printer keeps connecting through my Verizon card and it is costing me lots of $. Verizon says no way.
How to I tell my new Windows XP laptop to NOT connect my printer using the Verizon card? Tried everything. Want it to connect to Ethernet.

If you want to connect either device as an Ethernet, i.e, a wired, device, you must connect to your router via an Ethernet (CAT5 or CAT6) cable. What exactly is your Verizon card? Maybe you should try a different wireless card for normal network activity.

My Verizon Broadband card is a 5G card that mounts to a USB port. I do not have a router. Verizon said there was no way that my HP printer would automatically connect to my printer, but it does.
