Okay, it's like, I have all the tools here to do static routing. I just don't know what the words mean. It tells me to type in the Subnet IP. What's that? The IP address for my computer, or my friend's computer whom I wish to allow through? And even still do I use the LAN address (192.168.0.65)? Or his (or mine) public IP address (70.42.68.141)? And the I have to type in the Gateway IP! What's that? The Default Gateway? On his computer or mine?
And even after all that, does that gaurantee that all my ports are open to his computer?
If not, what the heck should I do?

You can click on the options on the left and see what you make of my possibilities, because that's the screens I have to deal with, and hope to specific IP address through my firewall.

What exactly are you trying to achieve? Your question is too vague.

Surely this router has a default setup that has a dynamic routing protocol. Why would you want to static route? What ARE you trying to achieve?

I like long walks, especially when they are taken by people who annoy me.

Yes, aside from being vague.....you seem to want to connect to someone across the internet. This leads to other questions.

Such as:

Why is routing necessary between the two locations? Are you planning on having a permanent link between the two? And if yes to the last question:

How are you connecting?

- encrypted VPN tunnel?
- dedicated line (t1, fibre, etc)?

Your best bet, to get a really helpful reply, is to outline what it is you are trying to do. What equipment you are using to do this.

I just want to play multiplayer with him. But it looks like our DSL modems are configured to block eachother. So I know how to go into the modem settings and find the port forwarding option. I just don't know what IP address to type where. Surely someone knows the answer to this. This is the screen that I know know what to do with:
