Static IP problem

I have connected wireless usb network adaptor to my desktop. I have given static IP. It is connecting to internet but not to LAN.If i restart IP address changes to dynamic. Plz help.

Are you disabling the other interfaces? How are you setting the IP address?

There is other lan interface connected. But either is not disabling when i am trying to do. I havie given a static IP address.

wht abt ur Network setup...
did u was able to connect @ ur lan thru wireless usb adapter..
wht abt other interface and it settings..

I am unable to connect to LAN thru wireless but able to access internet. Other interface is connected from modem with seperate network and IP thru DHCP.
