Hello all!
Here is my question, right now I have dsl and a dynamic IP addy that changes everytime I log onto the internet. Now I have 3 computers in my house that have to be on the internet so I have a small home network using a linksys mini 5 port hub. The 5th port is an expansion port for another hub or a dsl modem etc.. so I plugged my dsl into that and hooked my 3 PC's up to the hub and setup the network and all computers can log onto the internet fine and they get assigned a diff. IP address. Now, I have a server running for a game I play, and I was interested in getting a static ip addy, but will I have to get a dsl router for my 3 pc's to be on the net at the same time? Or can one of my comps use the static ip and the other two can use a dynamic one each time they log onto the net? Thank you all in advance and I greatly appriciate any replies I receive!

You have a minor problem here with the other computers grabbing your fixed IP address and using it. You would have to set up your server to only use the Static IP address, and then leave it on all the time, so that it is not available when one of the other are started. You could solve this by getting all static IP's.
