I have recently experienced a slow internet connection, so I went to http://192.168.100.1 which shows the status page for my Linksys cable modem. There are a host of errors listed there and I don't know what any of them mean. I called my cable companies tech support, and the "Tier 1" people kept insisting that my modem doesn't even have a log. The "Tier 2" people admitted there was a log, but had no idea what the errors were. So I gave up. Here is a screenshot of the log, do you have any clue as to what that all means:

Can hardly read the link. But it looks to me that the modem is requesting dhcp and other info from upline and isn't getting it.

Cable company needs to dispatch a tech to find the break.

Agreed. The cable company will come out, however, if the issue is with my wiring or modem there is a service fee. I know it's not my modem, and I'm sure it's not my wiring (in the house) but is there a quick way to test this? If I jump on end of the cable run and test the other with a resistance meter, what should the resistance be?

Its modem to them. Not your wiring. That unicast is the modem saying no one is answering so I am just going to start yelling and hope someone will reply. Can you here me now? :-) Apparently not.

Right, got that part. Could the apparent drops of data because by bad wiring though. As best as I can tell, my wiring is fine, and even if it wasn't shouldn't it pretty much either work or not work. Not just be slow?
