Just got Sprint Broadband. Have a hub and 3 computers. Does this need 2 NIC's in one computer like a cable modem???

What do you mean?
Did Sprint give you DSL? If so and they gave you 3 static IP's then you'll just need 1 NIC per computer.
If you are only allowed to have 1 computer, then you'll need a DSL Router www.linksys.com or turn one of your computer into a gateway/router by putting 2 NIC's in one computer and running something like www.winproxy.com or www.winroute.com
winroute is great but it comes with a great price tag.
winproxy offer 3 users for free and it's downloadable from www.winproxy.com
turn NAT on and just use NAT instead of the proxy setting.
