splitting apps across 2 net cards

i have two network cards...one wireless and one ethernet.. i would like to use my wireless network for all my http traffic and the ethernet network for all other...p2p, ftp etc..
is it possible?
basically i have 2 internet connections in the house, one adsl and one cable... and would like to use them both
seemed that this may be best as i can keep the laptops wireless..
if i did this could i use a bridge to then allow the laptops to access the shares on the ethernet network.
