Specs: Windows Vista
I can't seem to get my Belkin F6D4230 wireless router to talk to my modem...When everything is connected, I can log on thru my wired computer, but the router itself, and none of my wireless connections, can. The router has an LED for the modem and internet...the modem light blinks amber(bad) and the internet light doesn't come on at all. Please help, I can't figure out what I am doing wrong! Thanks!!

The Belkin F6D4230 has a Modem built in so you don't need the Siemens Modem.

If you must use the Siemens Modem make sure you plug it into one of the LAN ports on the router and not the WAN port. The WAN port will be for an RJ11 telephone cable. In that configuration you will just be using the router part and not the Modem part so the Amber light and the Internet light will not operate as it is not connected to anything.

Thank you, the cables were, in fact, hooked up correctly. I ended up, having to configure the modem for pppoe use manually then connecting it thru the online control page. thank you so much for your help!!
