I have SP2 that came with my computer. I have come to the conclusion that SP2 disconnects and reconnects the wireless connection frequently. Does anyone else have this problem? If so, have you found a way for it not to disconnect you. Microsoft does have a fix for it, but it doesn't work. Thank you!

What made you come to this conclusion?
First make sure you have the latest drivers for your wireless card. Then make sure you have the latest firmware on your wireless station (ex, router).
What does your environment look like for wireless, meaning are you in range, are you losing connection when you go into another room, so on and so on. The way your house is laid out can affect the wireless signal greatly.

I've read articles online (microsoft.com), and this is the only pc on my network that disconnects. And this is the only computer with SP2.

Go to Dell's web site and download the latest drivers for your wireless card. I had the same problem as you did but after the upgrade everything is fine now. Dell had a lot of problems with it's 1300, 1400, and 5100 TrueMoble wireless cards (internal and external). It's not a SP2 problem.
