Jeepers...this is far beyond a simple answer. I suggest purchasing the Network+ book by Mike Meyers. It is very comprehensive and easy to follow.

Vijay, Since you were able to post this message then you do have access to the Internet. Go to any search engine (av.com is my favourite) and type in the subject eg. TCPIP SUBNETTING and you after a little browsing will come across some very good and explantory material. Cori is correct as essentially if you understand this then you have 75% of TCP/IP.
