Hi All, Say for example I am dialling up to my ISP over my 56K Modem using my one and only phone line, I have call waiting and want some software of my computer to detect that I have a call coming in and will alert me. I could then put the ISP call on hold and take the voice call. I have heard there "might" be software out there that does this. Anybody have any ideas? R.

Most telephone companies have this available, but it's normally a service you have to pay for. Give them a call - if you're still interested - and see what they recommend.

You need a special modem. My friend has one and whenever he gets a call i screen pops up and says 'you have a call" then you can either take the call or continue surfing
