I have a few people experiencing slow network connection when opening files from server in Word. It's a small business of about 25 users, new cisco router/firewall. Any ideas why?

Larger files than the other clients are opening? They're set manually to 10 Mbps instead of 100? You have them set to half duplex instead of full?
The firewall shouldn't matter as the clients should be behind it. Unless you've setup your router wrong, it shouldn't affect them either.

If they are using Norton Antivirus try turning off the Office plug in under Miscellanous.

All clients are setup on auto. Larger files yes but even with small files, opening, editing, saving and printer very very slow. Only on select few pc's on network.
