I have just started using mozilla firefox as someone had suggested to me. When I double click the desktop icon it takes really long to load up for some reason. Can anyone say why?

Sometimes pages open really slowly on IE too, i have a good broadband connection and so do not understand why this is happening either, does anyone else?

Thanks

I would start looking for spyware or adware . Get adaware and Spybot and update them , then run them , you have something going on with your pc, Firefox is definetly not slow normally .
