Hi, I am having trouble getting my internet, which has been fine for months under my current settings, to run at full speed. I have cable internet and right now it feels slower than dial up. I am currently running my internet through a Netgear RT314 router, and also through a wireless gateway out of the router, and through both wireless and direct to router it is incredibly slow.
I plugged the modem directly in and it works perfectly fine. Could it be the router has stopped working? I have restarted it, restored the defaults, updated firmware.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Your router might be dying. I've had this issue with my netgear router in the past too.
