Specs: Windows XP
Here are the details of my issue, I just can't
make sense of it!

I have two computers connected to a modem
through a d-link wireless router. One of the is
connected with an Ethernet cable and the
other over a wireless connection. We have

When our connection is not shaped one computer gets the full 80-150kbps
while the other one connected through wireless LAN keeps losing connection
and only gets as much as 3kbps.

However, when our ISP shapes our connection both
computers get a steady 9kbps.

If anyone can shed light on this issue any help
would be greatly appreciated.

There is something wrong with the information you are providing. 150 kbps is very, very slow for ADSL. 9kbps is less than dial-up which is 56 kpbs.

It cant be Mbps second becasue the maximum theoretical bandwidth of ADSL2+ is 24 Mbps.

So either you have a really crap DSL connection or your are misinterpreting the information.

Sorry I should have mentioned that I am talking in KiloBYTES
not KiloBITS.

The numbers themselves are accurate
