simultaneous VPN + Internet surfing

I'm running Win2k Adv Srv and configured RRAS to accept PPTP VPN connections. So I use my laptop to dial out to an ISP and create the VPN tunnel. That much is successful.
What I want to know is how do I surf the Web using the Network WAN connection. It's a home lab with DSL. How do I configure my client or Win2k server to get me on the Web via DSL???
I could always break the VPN connection and surf using the dial-up and re-establish the VPN (it's a fast enough negotiation) but.... of course there wouldn't be any speed gains but still... Thanks.

I'm using Win2k server and a remote Win2k professional client. I had the same problem. From what I could tell establishing the VPN changed the default gateway on my wan connection (ipconfig /all). To fix the problem I opened the properties for the VPN connection on the client -> Networking -> TCP/IP (Properties) -> Advanced -> and unchecked "Use default gateway on remote network". After that both internet and my VPN connection worked simultaneously.
