It's done through File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks, a program readily available on all PCs running XO Home and Pro.

First right click on my network places and click properties. It will show the connections you have. Right click the one you are using to connect with the router and go to properties again. Make sure there is a check box next to File and Printer sharing.

Now find a folder you want to share. Right click on it and go to Properties then click on the sharing tab at the top. If simple file sharing is enabled all you will have to click is... share this folder on network. If it isn't there will be more options, but all you have to do is click new share and then name it. This should be all you have to do. The folder you share will now be in My network places.

As an FYI, file sharing is a security risk whenever you surf the net.
