dear all,
when i shutdown my server the os shutting down properly.but after the display gone also the cpu still ON!(processor fan moving+power led glowing,etc)

pls suggest me a solution.

Is this a new install? When did this start happening?

If you come up in safe mode can you shutdown normally?

Usual reason for what you describe is that a new install was done but the bios acpi setting were not correct so the hardware was enumerated differently [with no hardware control] then if the bios had been configured correctly. Usual remedy is to configure the bios correctly and choose the correct acpi hal.dll in the OS. Sometimes it takes a repair reinstall to correct.
