Comment: hi guys am trying to setup ISA 2006 enterprise as a gateway to the internet and as a firewall. the connection to the inernet is throu an ADSL Modem connected to the usb port on the ISA server. i've installed the driver for the adsl modem and created a dialup connection for the internet under Control Panel > Network Connections when i manually connect to the internet it works fine but then the internet is not shared. Now 2 things i want ISA to do. 1: i want ISA to connect to the internet automatically everytime windows start up without having to login first to Initiate the connection. 2: i want ISA to share the internet. what i've done so far after i installed ISA is that i created some firewall rules to allow certian traffic to go out from the internal network to the external such as http, https, ftp, ping, dns and so on. under the ISA management tool i clicked on Arrays>[Servername]>Configuration>General>Specify Dial-up preferences and ticked the box on Allow automatic dialing to this network and then selected [External] and another tick on configure this dial-up connection as the default gateway. on the same page there is an option that says Use the following dial-up connection so i selected the internet dialup connection that i created. but ISA still doesn't connect automatically in terms of sharing the internet does that have to be done through RRAS. i realy appreciate your help
