Is it possible to share the internet connection coming from a router which is connected to cable modem???

we have a cable modem and rotuer with 4 connection outlets which are connected to the pcs... we would like to add one more connection to the network...how to share the connection coming from the router outlet???

If I understand your question, all four outlets on the router are being used and you want to share the internet with a fifth computer. If that's the case, you'd need a hub to connect one of the four computers with the fifth computer. Naturally, the computer already connected to the router requires a second nic, and ics has to be enabled in the properties of the second nic. Thus you are creating a second network between the computer with 2 nic's and the fifth computer.

Actually you don't need to add a second nic and use ICS which is a pain in the butt.

Buy a switch, plug it into your router and plug the computer that was taken out of the router to make room for the switch into the switch.

We use this method to connect 84 computers thru a single internet connection here at work.
