after installing windows xp service pack 3 iam not able to access the hidden share folders or drives (like \\sys1\c$ or \\sys1\folder1$) its giving error like network path was not found. can any body pls tell me any security issues in service pack 3

Well, I have XP Pro with SP 3 installed and have no trouble connecting to the builtin administrative shares. I suspect the problem isn't the SP but something else. As to what, I can't say offhand.

Are you using an Administrative level account to try to connect to the admin shares? If not, you have to.
