Workstation
win xp professional and win98

Prob.
Sharing possible between win98 and win2000server, win xp and win 2000 server and win 98 and win xp with win2000 pro.

But win98 and win2000 pro and servr cannot open the share folder in win xp pro.

It shwoing the username and password windows.
Some of the solution which are tried:
1- installing Netbuie.
2- configuring the same user name and password
3- "Access this computer from network" window of services is hide.

workgroup name the same as domain name?

So if domain is mydomain.com the workgroup name is mydomain.

XP firewall turned off

Something shared on every pc?

Give a person a fish, they eat for a day. Suggest they internet search and they learn a skill for a lifetime.

All the pcs in the network are login in the win2000 server at the logon script the login.bat(includes the mapping command for three drives) is initialise so every pc in the network get three drives in there pc (my computer) for acces all the data of the server.
