I was wondering how to divert all the
broadband traffic in a lan through a windows
server 2003 system (installed on high end
desktop) with one nic card..

How many ways are there to share and what
is the safest and easiest way...

Thanks in Advance

You can't do it that way. To make it work would require 2 (two) NIC's.

This isn't the best idea anyhow as it would mean having to leave that computer up and running 24/7 in order for everybody else to access the internet.

There are a couple ways. The safest and easiest would be to spend around $50.00 (CDN) on a SOHO Router and use it instead of using another computer.

Yep, the best way to share Internet is to get a router (wireless or Ethernet router) and set up a wireless network or wired Ethernet network.
