I was wondering how to divert all the
broadband traffic in a lan through a windows
server 2003 system (installed on high end
desktop) with one nic card..You can't do it that way. To make it work would require 2 (two) NIC's.
This isn't the best idea anyhow as it would mean having to leave that computer up and running 24/7 in order for everybody else to access the internet.
How many ways are there to share and what
is the safest and easiest way...There are a couple ways. The safest and easiest would be to spend around $50.00 (CDN) on a SOHO Router and use it instead of using another computer.

Yep, the best way to share Internet is to get a router (wireless or Ethernet router) and set up a wireless network or wired Ethernet network.
