I have a VPN server setup on my home computer so I can access my home files while I am at work. When I am at work I can successfully connect to my VPN but I don't see any of my files. How would I share them so I can access them?

Create a user account on the target PC for the one you're connecting with. Use the exact same username/password for the account used to log onto the remote PC at bootup. I would add that account to the shares as well.
