I have a Lan,at Home,with DSL sharing(with MS ICS ). When at work , I would like to connect my Laptop to this Home Lan (and to the DSL share) using Dialup Connection (on my home phone line). I use Win 98 on all system. Which software must I use on my Home Computer to answer to my laptop dialup ? How IP adress is obtained by the laptop ? Is it a fixed IP ? Can I use a software only solution ?

explain little bit more in details...I couldn't get your question. If you already running online with DSL why are you using dialups?

If you just want to dial up to your house to get an Internet connection, you might be able to get away with the Dialup Server built into Win98. You might consider a distinctive ring on your home phone, so the computer knows when it should pick up the line. to be honest why whould u want 2 do that (to speed up ur diel up connection)it wont work and cant work because simply ur still using a dialup connection.

I simply wanna do that to have an internet acces from my Works and to acces my lan.
