You mean that on the host pc, i must give the second connection an IP address too...

i tried these settings on the client PC but failed.. Network is successfull (no limited connection status) but no internet access.

i have a lot of confusion regarding this.........

See i see 2 connections in my connections

1. One is connected to DSL and have Shared icon under it...(it is using a Static IP as i mentioned earlier)

2.The second connection is the one connected to other PC on which i want to share the internet connection....

I have confusion that.....

1. Should i set the IP and DNS settings for the Second connection (connection with other PC) on the HOST PC
2. Should i just leave the setting for automatic IP addressing
and alter it on just the CLIENT PC......
3. Or alter the setting on both connection 2 and client pc (then it gives me error of IP address conflict)

I have done MCSE certification back in 1999 but forgot almost all the please help me out.....with exact configurations.......
