Hi
I am trying to setup an Efficient Networks 5861 router with my cable connection (NTL UK). Problem is the DSL input port on the router is RJ-14 and i use RJ-45 to connect to the internet. Is there anyway of overcoming this factor?

You have a dsl router, not an ethernet router. I asked the same question with an idsn router. The bottom line is the wan (external) port is the wrong type and there isn't a way to fix that. Sorry, you can't reroute through another port.

Change the model of your router to either 5851 or 5871. Better consult your ISP and your router supplier for compatibility reasons. http://www.efficient.com/products/routbus.html
