Comment:

How do I go about sharing an Internet connection between 2 computers? They are both on a LAN and both have access to the net through a modem. One is Win 98 and the other is win ME.

Is it possible to set it up so that which ever computer logs onto the net, the other can share no problem through the LAN?

Thank you.

Don't remember the exact details. In WinMe/98, go to control panel/Networking/Properties/Enable Internet Connection sharing.

One computer will be the main internet connection PC. It acts as a router and allows the other one to log on.
