hi,
I need to connect to a vpn router to get on the net (I'm on a LAN and trought that LAN I connect to the router) but now I want my own little network to get my 2 computers on the net. So what I want to do is to share the VPN connection. I have a Windows XP and a RedHat 7.3 machine, both with a ethernet device. And I have another device for the computer who's going be the server for my network.
I tried to put the 2 devices in the Windows machine but it seems I can't connect to the VPN router with the two devices in that machine so I tried it with my Linux machine but there I can't get a stable VPN connection. I also shoudn't know how to share that connection over the network.
I'd most like to use my Windows machine as the server for my little LAN because it is the fastest one. But I think the VPN connection fails because I don't find a way to select an ethernet device for the connection.
Now is my question, what would be the best way to fix this? Is there a good VPN client for Windows that's easy to use and easy to share so my other computer can use the connection to? I tried Cisco Client but I wasn't able to connect it to the router...

please help me, I need it... :)
greetz,
Frost

Why not just have your net admin issue you a couple more VPN accounts, most routers support a 100 or more...

We are with a kind of 1000 or more people on the router. Is't one of the university so I don't think they'll give me another account. And I have only one connection to it so I would still need to connecto one computer to the other.
